Data Analytics Course
The analytics workflow end to end: Excel, Power Query, Power BI, visualization and business intelligence with projects.
View course →Built around what junior analyst roles actually ask for: clean data, answer questions, build reports and explain results.
This course is organised by the work of a junior analyst rather than by software. Each block ends with a deliverable you would produce on the job: a cleaned dataset, an analysis note, a dashboard, a weekly report.
Tools taught: Excel, Power Query, Power BI and DAX. SQL and Python are not part of this curriculum. For a broader skills map see Data Analytics and the data analyst skills guide.
Import, de-duplicate and standardise data, with a short data-quality note.
A written answer to a business question with supporting numbers.
An interactive report for a non-technical audience.
A refreshable weekly or monthly pack.
Sales analysis note and dashboard. Question, analysis, dashboard.
Automated weekly report. One refresh to a ready pack.
Interview case task. A timed case with feedback.
The program is taught module by module. Each module ends with a hands-on exercise built on business-style data.
Every concept is taught on a working file. You see the business question first - for example, "which regions missed target last quarter?" - and then build the formula, query or measure that answers it.
Each module closes with an exercise you complete yourself, followed by trainer feedback. Mistakes are part of the process: we cover the errors people actually hit, such as text-formatted numbers, broken lookups and wrong relationship direction.
Training files and practice datasets are provided so you can repeat every exercise after class.
Format. Instructor-led, practical sessions. Online, classroom and hybrid options are confirmed when you speak to us.
Batches. Upcoming batch dates are shared during counselling so you get current information. Ask for weekday, weekend or fast-track availability.
Certification. You receive a CharterPeak course completion certificate on completing the program and its assessments. This is not a Microsoft certification. If you want to prepare for a Microsoft exam such as PL-300, tell us and we will map the syllabus to the official skills outline.
Trainer names, backgrounds and areas taught are listed on our trainers page. Ask for a short demo class or a call with the trainer before you enrol.
Candidates are often given a dataset and 24 hours. We rehearse: restate the question, check the data, answer in three slides or one dashboard page, and list assumptions.
The Data Analytics course teaches the process and toolchain. This course is arranged by role deliverables and ends with interview preparation.
